How long does each power station run each appliance?
Every model we compare against every appliance in the calculator: 15 power stations × 16 appliances, each running on its own. “Can’t start” means the station’s output or surge rating is too low for that appliance’s start-up spike.

Questions about the chart
How long will a power station run a refrigerator?
From about 4.1 hours on the EcoFlow River 3 Plus (286 Wh) to about 2.4 days on the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 (4,096 Wh), on a typical fridge averaging 60 W.
How long will a 1,000 Wh power station run a fridge?
About 14 hours for a typical fridge; the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic (1,024 Wh) gives about 15 hours.
Which power station runs a CPAP the longest?
The biggest battery: the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 runs a CPAP without its heater for about 3.6 days.
Which power stations can’t start a sump pump?
EcoFlow River 3 Plus, Jackery Explorer 300 v2, Jackery Explorer 600 v2 can’t start a typical sump pump on its own.
Which power stations can run a microwave?
11 of 15 models, starting with the Anker SOLIX C800 Plus; the output rating decides it, not the battery size.
How long will a power station run a Wi-Fi router?
Days on most models: a router averages about 12 W, so 1,000 Wh lasts about 3 days.
Why do the hours differ from the maker’s claims?
We take 15% off for inverter losses and use typical appliance draws; makers often quote ideal conditions.
Can I cite this runtime chart?
Yes, it is free to quote or link with credit to the Backup Power Sizer by SurvivalTrends.
How these numbers are worked out
Runtime = battery Wh × 0.85 (inverter losses) ÷ the appliance’s average draw. Average draws are typical values: fridge 60 W, phones 5 W, wi-fi router 12 W, led lights 12 W, cpap 40 W, chest freezer 45 W, laptop 20 W, tv 25 W, gas furnace fan 250 W, sump pump 150 W, space heater 750 W, microwave 1100 W (while on), well pump 50 W, electric blanket 50 W, box fan 60 W, cpap with heated humidifier 80 W.
